Dear Fellow OANY Members and Friends,

On March 26^th, 2009, New York City College of Technology, Department of Visual Technology, will celebrate its 40^th Anniversary in Opticianry education. These 40 years of education have provided our industry with knowledgeable opticians to its credit and to the benefit of the public. Many of us are, in fact, alumni.

An Anniversary Journal is being comprised and OANY will take out a full page ad which will cost $1,000. It is only fitting and proper to take this opportunity and honor Professor Joseph Bacotti, one of the pioneers and founding fathers of Opticianry Excellence and Education at New York City Tech.
